SACRAMENTO, Jan. 15 (UPI) -- DeMarcus Cousins notched 24 points, 14 rebounds and six assists Monday, powering the Sacramento Kings to a 124-118 win over Cleveland.
Marcus Thornton and Jimmer Fredette came off the bench to pop in a trio of 3-pointers each, ending with a combined 36 points as the Kings broke a four-game losing streak.
Tyreke Evans went 6-of-6 from the field en route to 18 points and John Salmons added 14 as Sacramento cleaned up at the free-throw line, sinking 29-of-33 foul shots in the victory.
Dion Waiters poured in 33 points on 12-of-18 shooting while Tristan Thompson recorded 17 points and 15 rebounds for the Cavaliers, who fell to 0-3 on their current five-game road trip.
C.J. Miles also netted 17 points and Kyrie Irving contributed 15 in Cleveland's loss.
